My Mother and her cat moved to Harbison Shores about a month and a half ago. Mother made the decision to move to assisted living herself, and we were very blessed that CarePatrol helped us find Harbison Shores shortly after she made the decision. Mother keeps telling us how content she is to be at Harbison Shores and how safe she feels, and the cat has settled in nicely as well. The staff and leadership team have all been lovely to work with. We have very much appreciated how responsive they all are to our requests and emails, and how ...kind they are to the residents. The wooded setting and outdoor areas are calming and beautiful, and Mother's apartment is perfect. Having Mother at Harbison Shores has lifted many anxieties from all our shoulders!

Trick or treat! Halloween is right around the corner and there are many fun holiday themed snacks to eat. Witches’ hats are a fun and easy treat you can make by yourself or with your grandkids. You can give them out to other residents to brighten their day or send them home with your grandkids to give out. Ingredients you will need:
· Fudge stripe cookies · Milk chocolate or dark chocolate candy kisses · Honey · Decorating gel
Place a fudge stripe cookie with the bottom side up onto a flat work surface. Smear a small amount of honey onto the bottom of the cookie or the chocolate candy. (About 1/8 of a teaspoon) Use the honey to secure the kiss candy to the center of the cookie, covering the hole. (You can substitute chocolate icing or peanut butter for honey as the glue for your kiss candy.) You can use the decorating gel, in the color of your choice, to add a small bow, buckle or ribbon to add the finishing touches to your witches’ hat. Repeat with the remaining ingredients and enjoy!
